Can I get a truly custom look with Contoura?
Yes. So go ahead and dream big, designers. Sleek and modern, warm and natural, or rich and traditional, all options are available. Whatever your look, and however you’d like to achieve it, we can build it using Contoura.

Isn’t welding a better fastening system than nuts and bolts?
Actually, no. Traditional custom counters are welded because
that is the only practical method to fabricate custom products
made with imprecisely engineered and fit parts. Welded stainless
products invariably contain unsightly weld marks and imprecise
fit or tolerance issues due to material shrinkage. Not to
mention that welding is time-consuming, requires highly skilled
labor and creates products that aren’t easy to modify down
the road as needs change. Properly designed assemblies using
precision parts and pre-cut fastening locations can give you a
better fit and finish, faster delivery and more flexibility down
the road.

Can I create counters of any dimension and shape?
Know no limits. Choose any shape or style – S curve, freestanding serving pod, traditional right angle, you name it – and any height, length and width.

Is it possible to refurbish my counter system down the road?
Yes. Menus change and decor becomes dated. Contoura makes it easy to update your counter system’s look by separating the frame and finish. And if your needs grow, so can Contoura. Simply remove the finish and extend the frame.

Is Contoura as strong as a traditionally fabricated counter system?
Contoura has zero welds, which weaken over time and if put under enough stress, eventually break. We incorporate a plethora of internal supports, and use only the best construction materials.

Is it possible to field-modify Contoura?
Contoura’s computer modeling prevents surprises. But if the plumbing isn't’t where you expect it to be, or even if the room’s narrower than you were told it was, Contoura can be field modified as simply as any other type of counter system.

Does Contoura create work for other contractors?
No, just the opposite. Onsite install is dramatically faster and you won’t need to knock down any walls, or even completely clear out, for us to do our work. Chaseways are built in, and no utility walls are required.
