Can I put ZGuard on my existing counters?
Yes. We recommend putting ZGuard on existing counters
to those who want to update their cafeteria but don’t have the
budget for a total redesign. Food Service Consultants and Designers
tell us the single most dramatic change they can make to an existing
cafeteria is to replace the food shields. Not only does it immediately update the look of a facility it also has been proven to quickly increase participation, sales and margins. We have the most mounting options
in the industry so ZGuard can easily be installed on nearly any counter
or cart. You can even install ZGuard where there is no under counter
access and still be assured of a strong, secure mount.
How hard is it to adjust the angle and height
of the glass and do I need special tools?
It couldn’t be easier to change the height or angle of the glass.
Depending on the length of the span it takes one or two people a few
moments to change the height or angle of the glass. And with our unique
bracket design, you get a slow release for glass panels so you don’t
have to worry about the glass crashing down on your counters or fingers.
There are no special tools required. For special situations where you
want the look of ZGuard, but want to limit access to the adjustability
we can offer a solution that gives you total control of who is able
to change the glass configurations.
Does ZGuard meet health code requirements?
Health codes change from city to city and ZGuard quickly adapts to
meet the most stringent of codes. Even if health codes change, the

All of our glass is tempered for maximum safety.
